First Person Boxing Beginner Guide & Tips
Stay protected, read the next punch, and take your opening. These beginner tips focus on the systems described by the game and the habits seen in player recordings.

Start with your guard up.
Hold F through most of an exchange and lower it only to throw. Recordings show that leaving your guard down often costs the exchange.
Weave when the punch is coming.
Use Space to slip a punch that is already on its way. It is a timed response, so treating it like a movement key misses its purpose.
Watch the stamina tell.
Look for visible sweat when an opponent tires and consider pressing the attack. Recordings show sweat near exhaustion and a knockout, while the official description says fatigue slows a fighter down.
Back off when you need to recover.
Create space if you are hurt, and watch for an opponent trying the same move. Players report that health regenerates when a fighter disengages.
Read distance through the camera.
Keep your opponent centred and notice how much of the view they fill. Players use that first-person view to judge how close they are.
Practise against AI before PvP.
Use AI bouts to work on guard, slips and counters before facing other players. The official game includes both AI practice and player fights.
Watch a match from the sidelines.
Spectate other bouts and pay attention to when fighters guard or back off. Players report spectating as a way to follow fights before taking part.
Build your next round
Keep the PC controls nearby, read what is known about fighting styles, and use the tier list maker to record what suits you. Reported codes can give you extra Spins.
